Breakfast for the Brain
Monday, March 10, 9:00 a.m., held in classroom 2. This 8 week workshop, "Breakfast for the Brain" begins on Monday, March 10 and continues each consecutive Monday thereafter. This program is in partnership with the Alzheimer's Association in Davis County. It will be a fun, interactive class to help promote a stronger and healthier brain. There will be a $2.00 charge at the door if you would like a light breakfast. Please remember to RSVP no later than March 3.

Friday, April 4, 8:15 a.m., the bus will pick up in front of the hospital. This is one of our most popular activities. The trip includes the bus, a coupon for a free buffet and also complimentary vouchers for money! Part of the fun is the ride down as we play several games of Bingo and have a raffle for a free trip to Wendover. Thanks to George for hosting this trip. You must come into the office to make payment before your seat can be reserved. Refunds will only be given with a 48 hour notice of cancellation.
AARP Driver Safety
Tuesday, April 8, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. held in classroom 2. Davis Hospital is happy to host the AARP class for seniors in our community. By completing the class, most auto insurance companies will offer a discount on your policy. Let your friends and neighbors know. Cost is $15.00 with AARP membership or $20.00 for non-members, payable to the instructor.
Living Planet Aquarium
Wednesday, April 9, 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.; the bus will pick up in front of the hospital. Our first trip of the year! We will visit the new Living Planet Aquarium in Draper. The new facility is on a world class scale in 136,000 square feet. We'll see the 40 ft. whale shark sculpture, which is the largest in the world. With 1,250 animals and 267 species on display, there will be lots of things to see and do as we make our way through the Living Planet Aquarium. We will stop for lunch at Chuck-a-Rama. Lunch is on your own. Cost is $8.50 plus tax and gratuity.
Wednesday, April 16, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. held in classroom 1. Everyone who comes to this activity has a really good time and then continues to come each time we have it! This is a game involving dice that brings with it excitement and loads of fun. If you know how to count, you will be able to play BUNKO, so come and join us for this fun activity.
Thursday, April 24, 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. held in classroom 3. It's time for another newsletter! This is a really fun activity. You can get to know some of your fellow senior member friends while putting together the calendar and newsletter for mailing. We only have room for 12 volunteers so sign up early. You will enjoy a complimentary lunch afterwards. It also gives you a chance to be the first to sign up for the up-coming activities. Thanks to those of you who faithfully come each time.
