Davis Hospital Physican Receives Award

LAYTON, UTAH, January 23, 2008 - Davis Hospital and Medical Center in Layton has named Dr. Stephanie Olsen, Cardiologist, as recipient of the Robert F. Bitner Award. The award is given annually to a physician on the staff of Davis Hospital, who has exhibited the highest standards of quality patient care in fulfillment of their Hippocratic Oath as evidenced by the example set in the lifelong career of Dr. Robert F. Bitner. Dr. Olsen practices at Utah Cardiology in Layton.  "Her patients not only love and admire her, but also love her dedication and understanding. Dr. Olsen willingly sacrifices her own personal time to attend to ailing patients and their families, often times into the long hours of the night. She is not only a respected Cardiologist, she is also a mother and wife.  She is a role model to her co-workers, her patients, and the community", said Utah Cardiology staff.

Michael Jensen, Davis Hospital C.E.O., presented the award to Dr. Olsen at a recent medical staff banquet at Oakridge Country Club.
