Davis Hospital and Medical Center opened in 1976 and has been providing high-quality healthcare in Layton for over 30 years now. Before the hospital was built, residents of Davis County had to travel to Ogden or Salt Lake City for hospital services. With Davis Hospital, local residents have convenient access to expert medical services close by and always available.

Davis Hospital has grown right along with the community. As the hospital added services and upgraded its facilities, it kept pace with the increasing healthcare needs of this growing area. Since opening, Davis Hospital has grown to a 225 bed hospital offering comprehensive healthcare services including emergency care, advanced surgical procedures, diagnostic imaging, maternity care, women’s services as well as help for a broad range of medical conditions.

Recently, Davis Hospital added a second Emergency Room location that provides easy, convenient access to high quality health care for the communities of Northern Utah. Located in Roy, the hospital’s free standing Emergency Room offers comprehensive emergency care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This location also offers comprehensive laboratory and radiology services including mammography.

With advanced technology, a medical staff of over 400 and caring, professional employees, Davis Hospital is well equipped to care for the surrounding communities.
